JEFFRION AUBRY NO-SHOW The first debate for the 35th Assembly District of Queens results in a NO SHOW by Jeffrion Aubry.
Queens, N.Y. – Showing a continued disregard for the voters of Queens’ Assembly District 35 and the debate host Victoria Schneps-Yunis, Aubry ducks debate. Anthony Miranda, Candidate for the 35th Assembly District showed up to participate in a debate with Assemblyman Jeffrion Aubry at QPTV with host Victoria Schneps-Yunis. QPTV arranged the debate around Mr. Aubry’s schedule. In fact, QPTV changed the date from Tuesday, August 17, to Monday, August 16 to ensure Aubry's participation, which his office confirmed. However, Assemblyman Jeffrion Aubry was a NO-SHOW. The question now is, WHAT IS HE AFRAID OF? Mr. Miranda stated, “I am disappointed that Mr. Aubry felt that today’s scheduled debate was not important enough for him to attend even after the re-scheduling. Back room machine politics and failed policies burden the voters. There are serious issues facing all of us who live in the 35th Assembly District. Voters have the right to have Aubry atone for burdening working families with more taxes, cuts to education, cuts to health care and no support for the elderly.” |
